Privacy Policy
1. Overview
Omne (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates OMNe, a dating application designed to help adults discover compatible matches in real-world settings through profile-based matching, proximity-based discovery, consent-based location interactions, in-app safety controls, and optional paid features.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use the OMNe mobile application, websites, services, features, subscriptions, communications, and related offerings. It also explains your privacy choices and rights.
OMNe is intended only for adults who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account or use the service.

2.3 Location and Proximity Information
OMNe relies on location and proximity information to provide its core dating features. Depending on your settings and permissions, we may collect or process:
- Approximate and precise device location while the app is in use, and, if you permit it, while the app is running in the background.
- Proximity signals used to determine whether compatible users are within a selected discovery range.
- Temporary navigation or guidance information used after both users authorize a proximity-based introduction.
- Discovery history, missed or skipped match indicators, and related location context for paid features, where enabled.
We do not publicly display your exact location. OMNe is designed to provide controlled discovery and guidance only after required consent steps are completed. Users should understand that any real-world meeting involves personal judgment and risk.

If you purchase a subscription or paid feature, payment processing is generally handled by Apple, Google, or another authorized payment provider. We may receive limited information about the transaction, such as subscription status, product purchased, renewal status, and receipts needed to manage access. We do not receive your full payment card number from Apple or Google.
2.8 Information from Third Parties
- Information from authentication providers if you sign in using a third-party account.

4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information based on one or more of the following: performance of our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, and protection of vital interests or safety. You may withdraw consent for certain features, such as location access, but doing so may limit or disable core app functionality.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense of exchanging it for money. We may share information as described below:
- With other users: profile information, photos, matching status, and limited discovery information may be shown to compatible users according to your settings and consent choices.
- Trusted-contact sharing: if you choose to share a match or meeting information with a trusted contact, we will share the information you authorize, which may include the match’s profile, photo, general location context, and meeting-related details.
- Service providers: cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, payment validation, communications, customer support, moderation, safety, security, fraud detection, and similar vendors.
- App store providers: Apple and Google may process payment, subscription, device, and account information under their own terms and privacy policies.
- Legal and safety purposes: we may disclose information to comply with law, lawful requests, court orders, law enforcement, or to prevent harm, fraud, abuse, stalking, harassment, or threats to safety.
- Business transfers: information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
6. Location Privacy and Proximity Matching
Location information is central to OMNe. We use location to determine whether compatible users are within a selected discovery range, support temporary guidance after mutual authorization, and provide optional missed-match or proximity features. We use controls intended to reduce misuse, including consent steps, time limits, location masking or approximation where appropriate, cancellation options, and reporting tools.
You can disable location permissions through your device settings. If location permissions are disabled, OMNe may not be able to provide proximity matching, discovery alerts, navigation, or missed-match features.
7. User-Generated Content and Public Visibility
Your profile and content may be visible to other users depending on your settings, matching status, subscription tier, and consent choices. You should not post sensitive personal information, financial information, government identification numbers, precise home or work addresses, or anything you do not want other users to see.
8. Sensitive Information
Some information you provide in a dating app may be sensitive, including dating preferences, gender, orientation, location, photos, and communications. By using OMNe and providing this information, you authorize us to process it to provide the service, subject to this Privacy Policy and applicable law. You may choose not to provide certain information, but that may reduce or prevent use of particular features.
9. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain safety and security, prevent fraud and abuse, and support legitimate business purposes. Deleted accounts and content may remain in backup systems for a limited period. Reports, moderation records, fraud-prevention records, and safety-related data may be retained longer where necessary to protect users and the platform.
10. Your Choices and Controls
- Update or delete portions of your profile.
- Control discovery settings, incognito mode, distance settings, and notification preferences where available.
- Enable or disable location, camera, photos, notifications, and other permissions through device settings.
- Block or report users.
- Request account deletion.
- Opt out of certain marketing communications.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. California residents may have additional rights under California privacy laws. Residents of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and similar jurisdictions may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws. To exercise rights, contact us at the email above. We may verify your identity before responding.
12. Children and Minors
OMNe is strictly limited to adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a person under 18 has created an account or provided information, we may delete the account and related information. If you believe a minor is using OMNe, contact us immediately.
13. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality and for exercising judgment when interacting with others online or in person.
14. International Transfers
If you access OMNe from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your location.
