Safety and Community Standards
1. Purpose
OMNe is built to help adults meet compatible people in real-world settings. That can only work when users feel respected, safe, and in control. These Safety and Community Standards explain the behavior we expect, the behavior we prohibit, and the safety practices all users should follow.
2. Core Principles
- Consent is required at every step.
- No one is entitled to another person’s time, attention, location, contact information, or affection.
- A match is an invitation to decide, not permission to approach without consent.
- Safety features support safer decisions but do not replace personal judgment.
- Respectful behavior is mandatory, online and offline.
3. Adults Only
OMNe is strictly for users 18 years of age or older. Any suspected minor account may be removed. Any content or conduct involving minors in a sexual, romantic, exploitative, or unsafe manner is strictly prohibited and may be reported to appropriate authorities.
4. Consent and Proximity Rules
- Do not approach a user unless the required OMNe consent steps have been completed.
- Respect deny, cancel, timeout, block, unmatch, and non-response decisions immediately.
- Do not follow, monitor, wait for, photograph, record, or confront another user.
- Do not use OMNe to identify someone’s home, workplace, vehicle, routine, or personal schedule.
- Do not share or post another user’s location, photo, profile, passphrase, or personal details outside the app except through authorized safety-sharing tools.
5. Real-World Meeting Safety
- Meet in public, well-lit places.
- Tell a trusted person where you are going and who you are meeting.
- Use OMNe trusted-contact sharing when available.
- Verify the passphrase before engaging.
- Do not leave the public setting with someone you just met unless you independently decide it is safe.
- Keep your phone charged and accessible.
- Trust your instincts. Cancel or leave if something feels wrong.
- Call local emergency services if you are in immediate danger.
6. Prohibited Content and Behavior
- Harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, intimidation, or coercion.
- Sexual assault, sexual coercion, non-consensual sexual conduct, or pressure for sexual activity.
- Solicitation, prostitution, sex work coordination, trafficking, or sexual services for compensation.
- Non-consensual intimate images, revenge porn, voyeuristic content, or threats to expose private content.
- Impersonation, fake profiles, catfishing, identity misrepresentation, or use of stolen photos.
- Hate speech, discrimination, demeaning stereotypes, or targeted abuse.
- Scams, requests for money, investments, financial assistance, gift cards, cryptocurrency, banking information, or login credentials.
- Weapons threats, violent content, criminal planning, or encouragement of self-harm.
- Spam, commercial solicitation, unauthorized advertising, or bots.
- Attempts to bypass safety controls, location limits, reporting tools, or account restrictions.
7. Photos and Profile Standards
- Use current photos that accurately represent you.
- Do not upload photos of another person as yourself.
- Do not upload explicit sexual images, nudity, minors, violent imagery, hateful symbols, or illegal content.
- Do not include private addresses, financial information, passwords, or government identification information in your profile.
8. Reporting and Blocking
Users should report conduct that feels unsafe, suspicious, abusive, deceptive, or inconsistent with these standards. Blocking a user prevents or limits further interaction depending on available features. Reports may be reviewed by OMNe staff, automated systems, or safety vendors. We may take action without disclosing the outcome to the reporting user.
9. Enforcement
OMNe may remove content, restrict features, require verification, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, preserve records, or cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate. Serious safety violations may result in permanent removal without warning.
10. Emergency and Law Enforcement
OMNe is not an emergency service. If you face immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. We may preserve and disclose information when we believe it is necessary to prevent harm, comply with law, investigate serious misconduct, or protect users and the platform.
